Remote Control For Kids - Toy and Mini RC Helicopters and Airplanes Spell Fun For Youngsters

Once upon a time, not too long ago, flying remote control airplanes was considered too difficult and costly for all but the most ardent enthusiast. Remote control helicopters were even more demanding and expensive, and neither was an appropriate hobby for non-adults. But in recent years, with the introduction of toy and mini helicopters and planes, all that's changed, particularly where helis are concerned. Today, kids remote control has, excuse the phrase, really taken off.

Toy helis and planes are more stable and have fewer controls than hobby-grade models and are easier to fly for kids and beginners. They won't go as fast or perform all the maneuvers that larger, more complex models can, but they're inexpensive and make great starter kids remote control aircraft. Many toy helicopters cost less than $50.00, with toy RC airplanes going for about that or not much more.

Micro or mini copters and planes fall somewhere between toy and hobby-grades. They cost more, are a bit less easy to fly, and will perform and maneuver better than toys. Micros are cheaper and less difficult to master than hobby-grade, and some perform as well as lower-end gas-powered aircraft. Some toys can be flown by kids as young as 6 or 7, while minis are better suited for 8 and up.

Most toys and micros are Ready to Fly, meaning they are fully assembled and come with everything except batteries. They are very quiet, non-polluting, and don't require the maintenance that gas aircraft do. Tons of fun and very affordable, mini RC helicopters and airplanes are a great way to scratch your kids remote control itch.

The thrilling hobby of RC flying is for youngsters too! Toy and mini kids remote control airplanes and helicopters have made learning to fly easier, safer and more inexpensive than ever.
